Student Connections

Texas Tech Physicians of El Paso at Hague provides health services to students who are currently enrolled and have paid the Student Health Fee as part of their tuition and fees. To receive health services, students must present a student ID at the time of the appointment. For more information regarding student services covered please refer to the Student Health brochure.
TTUHSC El Paso Student Counseling Services are provided through students’ payment of the Student Services Fee. These resources are provided to enhance wellness by providing you, and any dependents you have, the opportunity to manage life’s problems before they become serious and impair your academic and professional performance. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) fully embraces student wellness as a fundamental component of institutional excellence. TTUHSC El Paso’s From Red to Black Financial Literacy Program serves to provide comprehensive financial education for students and residents, and it helps to equip them with a foundation to make informed financial decisions during and after their time at TTUHSC El Paso. Residents, medical, nursing, research and dental students face enormous financial stresses in their journey, and the From Red to Black financial literacy program will contribute to a greater sense of control over their future, with greater short- and long-term well-being.

Join us for our Student Organization Transition Week from Monday May, 4 to Friday, May 8. We will be hosting WebEx sessions each day covering everything you need to know about the transition process, re-registration in Tech Engage, mandatory orientations and trainings, and new and exciting opportunities for organizations. Keep an eye out for more information in Tech Engage and do not miss out!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and the UTEP Campus, Advocacy, Research, and Education team has extended an invitation to all of our students to participate in their programming. Their final event, Take Back the Night, will take place on Thursday, April 30 and will include a virtual display of the "What Were You Wearing" exhibit.
