Welcome
Conducts and maintains the comprehensive institutional faculty development course;
the departmental faculty development program; the institutional faculty mentoring
program; the writing interest group (WIG); continuous faculty development program
(e.g., Need-to-Know grand round series); and recently introduced mid-career, senior
and community faculty development programs.
Mission
The mission of the Office of Faculty Development is to nurture the faculty of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso by providing dynamic training aimed at enhancing teaching skills, leadership skills, scholarship and research.
Vision
The vision of the Office of Faculty Development is to assist faculty in becoming effective clinical educators, reseachers and scholars through innovative courses, workshops and mentoring initiatives.
