Sireesha Y. Reddy, M.D., is a professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology, with a secondary appointment in pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. She trained at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Reddy is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who joined the faculty as division chief for the general obstetrics and gynecology division and medical director of the Women's Health Practice. Her clinical focus is in the care of pediatric and adolescent gynecology patients understanding that this special young population has unique requirements for physicians who are skilled in the medical evaluation, surgical management, and correction of gynecologic disorders of this age group. Dr. Reddy has lectured and given workshops at national meetings including the North American Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Annual Clinical Meeting. She is a member of the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Society for Adolescent Medicine and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. During the past years, Dr. Reddy has authored and co-authored peer reviewed publications. She has also been awarded several foundation and NIH grants to support her research.

Associate Dean for Faculty Development
Sanja Plavsic Kupesic, M.D., is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology and radiology in the department of medical education at TTUHSC El Paso. Dr. Kupesic obtained her medical degree in 1987, Master of Science in 1990 and Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of Zagreb in Croatia.
She completed her subspecialty training in endocrine-infertility from the same institution. Dr. Kupesic has published extensively on 3D ultrasound and colored doppler. She is acting secretary of The Fetus as a Patient Society, and has received numerous awards to include the Sir William Liley Medal in 2005.

Assistant Professor
Assistant professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso. Dr. Lyn received her residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and was previously an assistant professor and associate clerkship director in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Lyn will be involved in research, teaching and patient care. Her special areas of interest are adolescent gynecology and abnormal bleeding.

Patricia Rojas-Mendez, M.D., is an instructor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso. Dr. Rojas- Mendez, a native of Costa Rica, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico and obtained her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
She completed her residency training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Rojas-Mendez is board eligible after having passed the basic written examination in obstetrics and gynecology upon completion of her residency. She will be involved in research, teaching and patient care. Her special areas of interest are general obstetrics/gynecology and minimally invasive surgery.

Assistant Professor
George B. Iskander, M.D., FACOG, FMIGS, is an instructor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso. Dr. Iskander obtained his medical degree from Assiut University Egypt in Assiut, Egypt.
Dr. Iskander completed his residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York. He then pursued fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax, Virginia.
Dr. Iskander is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He is fellowship trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and specializes in performing advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic surgeries. Dr. Iskander's expertise includes managing uterine fibroids, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, septum resection and single site robotic hysterectomy.

Naima Khamsi, M.D., a proud native of El Paso, Texas, is an assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Khamsi received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, and her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. She later returned to El Paso to complete her OB-GYN residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso. Her clinical interests include high-risk pregnancies in the Latina population.

Assistant Professor
Shirley J. Hinshaw, M.D., joined TTUHSC El Paso in October 2017.
Dr. Hinshaw received her undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and her medical degree from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following her residency, she practiced in Davenport, Iowa and Las Cruces, New Mexico. Dr. Hinshaw then moved to El Paso with her husband and their two children. Her clinical interests include preventive care and minimally invasive surgery.
Gynecologic Oncology

Gynecologic Oncology Division Head
A board-certified gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Galic is division chief of Gynecologic Oncology. She completed her medical education at the University of Washington School of Medicine and an MBA at Johns Hopkins University.
Her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology was through the Lehigh Valley Health Network. She completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Cornell and Columbia universities’ joint fellowship program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her clinical interests include the management of advanced ovarian cancer, targeted therapeutics and precision medicine, fertility preserving surgery for women with cervical cancer, and palliative medicine. Dr. Galic has authored numerous papers in the field of gynecologic oncology. Her current research interests focus on targetable molecular pathways in ovarian cancer, mechanisms of anti-cancer drug action and the biological basis of drug resistance in ovarian cancer.

Dr. Greenberg received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in New York and his medical degree from State University of New York School of Medicine.
Dr. Greenberg is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. Dr. Greenberg received the "Friends of Women's Health" Award, the TTUHSC "Dedication to Resident Education and Patient Care" Award, Armed Forces District Chairman's Award for Best Clinical Research Paper, American Cancer Society Clinical Fellow and the New York State Regents Scholarship and Scholar Incentive Award. Dr. Greenberg is involved in the management of gynecology malignancies, complicated pelvic surgeries, teaching, and research.

Dr. Montoya, a native El Pasoan, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. He returned to Dallas to complete a three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has received multiple teaching and research awards, including the President's Award for Outstanding Research in Gynecologic Surgery from the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and a research grant from the American Urogynecologic Society/June Allyson Foundation. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and has performed research studies on pelvic anatomy, native tissue vaginal reconstructive procedures, and anal sphincter recovery after injury. Areas of interest include transvaginal surgery, vaginal reconstruction for prolapse, urinary and anal incontinence.

Dr. P. Antonio Maldonado is a proud native of El Paso, Texas. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Yale University and medical doctoral degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas.
After completing his residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at Yale New-Haven Hospital, he returned to UTSW in Dallas to complete a 3-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. He is board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology. During fellowship, he received various awards for his research and service, including the Society for Gynecologic Surgery (SGS) President's Award for his Fellow Prize Paper, the Pelvic Floor Disorders Research Foundation Fellow Grant, and the Parkland Health and Hospital System Fellow Award of Excellence in Patient Care. His areas of interest and research include surgical anatomy of the pelvic floor, birth-related pelvic floor injury, laparoscopic and transvaginal repair of pelvic organ prolapse, and medical/surgical management of urinary incontinence.
Maternal Fetal Medicine

Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Chief
Dr. Moore is board certified in perinatology and serves as Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division Chief. She received her medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC.
Dr. Moore completed her residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. Her clinical interests include diabetes in pregnancy and the use of ultrasound in the identification of fetal anomalies.

Dr. Martinez is board certified in both maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology. She received her medical degree from the University Of New Mexico School Of Medicine.
Dr. Martinez completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at TTUHSC El Paso. She went on to complete a three year fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She has won several national teaching awards, including The Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) National Faculty Award for Excellence and The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence. Her interests include resident education, prenatal diagnosis and critical care obstetrics.
Minimally Invasive Surgery

Assistant Professor
Steven Radtke, M.D., is originally from Austin, Texas. He moved to Mexico with his family while young. There, he graduated with academic honors from ITESM, one of the top medical schools in the country.
Dr. Radtke went on to complete an OB/GYN residency at Southern Illinois University, where he did research on abnormal uterine bleeding and polycystic ovarian syndrome. Upon graduation, he was awarded with the AAGL (American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) award for excelling in minimally invasive gynecology/robotic surgery.
After completing residency training, he went into private practice and served the East Texas community for two years, where he had the privilege of assisting moms bringing new lives into the world, as well as undertaking complex gynecologic surgical cases.
Dr. Radtke went on to complete a two-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, where he trained in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, specializing in complex pathology such as severe endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse, large fibroid uteri, mesh removal, etc. He presented his research at multiple national meetings during this time, in areas including pelvic organ prolapse, minimizing pain after surgery and endometriosis.
After completing his fellowship, he joined the department of obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech University in El Paso.
Thanks to his time in Mexico, Dr. Radtke is fluent in Spanish. He is a strong advocate for women’s health and is looking forward to humbly serving the West Texas community.

Assistant Professor
Anjana Nair, M.D., is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is fellowship trained in minimally invasive gynecology surgery and specializes in performing advanced laparoscopic and robotic gynecology surgeries.
Dr. Nair is very active in research and has multiple grants and has authored many papers in her field.
Dr. Nair attended medical school at Kottayam Medical College in India, and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in India. She completed her residency training at New York Downtown Hospital in New York City. She then pursued her fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecology surgery at the Carolinas HealthCare System in Charlotte, North Carolina. She subsequently earned the National Certified Menopause Practitioner credential.
Dr. Nair specializes in gynecology care, laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, management of women with chronic pelvic pain and vulvar disorders, menopause management and obstetrics.

Assistant Dean for Faculty Development
Dr. Mulla completed his master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of South Florida College of Public Health in Tampa.
Prior to joining the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006, Dr. Mulla was a faculty member at the El Paso Regional Campus of the University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston (UT-Houston). He has worked over 20 years as an epidemiologist and authored over 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mulla’s honors include the Outstanding Teacher Award from UT-Houston, and the Professional Achievement Award from the University of Arizona Alumni Association in Tucson. Dr. Mulla is certified by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.

Professor Emeritus
Dr. Scragg retired in August 2013 after 40 years of service at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso.
Prior to his retirement, Dr. Scragg was a professor in the department of obstetrics and gynecology. During his tenure at TTUHSC El Paso he served in multiple capacities such as interim regional dean, assistant dean, associate department chairman, clinical director and residency director for Ob/Gyn, and medical director for family planning. He is a tenured professor and has been recognized by his colleagues and students for outstanding achievements as a teacher, faculty member, and mentor.

Clinical Professor
Luis S. Noble, M. D., graduated with honors from Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Medical School, Monterrey, Mexico and did his residency at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, TX.
Dr. Noble did a research fellowship in reproductive medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and a clinical fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and Infertility from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX. He is the recipient of numerous national research awards from the Society for Gynecologic Investigation and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine for research in endometriosis. Dr. Noble's areas of interest are endometriosis, reproductive surgery, and assisted reproductive technology.
